Have you seen the American Girl commercials?  They make me feel like a little girl again. I want to just race to the nearest American Girl store and buy some dolls. Of, course the nearest store to me is about 5 hours away and I don’t really have time for the commute. So I guess I will just settle for going online instead.

Have you ever been online and just looked around on the American Girl website? I am thoroughly awed. Now I want to own all of their dolls and I especially like the fact that I can make them look any way I want.  There are so many clothes and accessories to choose from that I see that it will be very easy for me to spend quite a bit of money making my dream American Girl.

Now the fun doesn’t just stop there, there is a bookstore for avid readers. This is great because instead of just imagining all of the fun my AGD (American Girl doll) is having; I can also read about some of her past adventures as well.  There is never a dull AGD moment. While I'm online I should just click on over to the play universe. I am surprised to see that I can add their app to my phone so that I can play with my American Girl anywhere in the world. I can also send personalized cards to all of my friends and family courtesy of American Doll for a small fee of course.

All in all I must say that as easy as it was for me to become enthralled with just visiting American Girl virtually, I can see where it would be even harder to pull myself away had I gone into to an actual American Girl Store. No matter a woman's age, American Girl will never lose its appeal.
